San Antonio, TX — For the inaugural exhibition at SPACE, curator Maura Reilly organized the selection of works from the Linda Pace Foundation's permanent collection. Pace Gems aimed to accurately reflect Pace’s overarching collection criteria, which focused on artists linked with the Artpace residency program and its related Hudson Show Room exhibitions, as well as other internationally recognized artists, including Wangechi Mutu, Jim Hodges, Andres Serrano, Marilyn Minter, Glenn Ligon, Anthony Gormley, Lynda Benglis, Catherine Opie, Franco Mondini-Ruiz, Annette Messager, Teresita Fernandez, Donald Moffett, and Kendell Geers, among many others.
